Getting to the theater

Location

Cherry Lane is located at 38 Commerce Street in the West Village. We are three blocks south of Christopher Street, just West of 7th avenue.

Mass transit

Nearby trains are the 1 to Christopher Street or the A,B, C, D, E,F, or M to West 4th Street. The M20 bus goes downtown on 7th Avenue and uptown on Hudson Street.

We recommend selecting the theater address for your destination.

Planning your visit

Tickets

Tickets can be purchased online and are delivered via email. If you haven’t received your ticket, check your spam folder for emails from boxoffice@cherrylanetheatre.org. If you are still having problems contact the team at boxoffice@cherrylanetheatre.org.

Pre-Show

Doors will open 30 min prior to the show.

Print and digital tickets will be scanned by our team. If you are using digital tickets, please turn up the brightness of your device.

There is no late seating once a show begins.

No photography or recording is allowed during performances.

There is no coat-check.

Rush Tickets

For each theatrical performance, Cherry Lane will offer a limited number of $24 rush tickets, available at the box office one hour before curtain.

Concessions

A variety of concessions are available for purchase.

Eating and drinking is allowed during the show, though we ask our guests to be courteous to performers and other guests.

Bathrooms

Bathrooms are available for use during the show.

Accessible Seats

A certain number of seats per show are available for purchase for guests who use mobility aids like wheelchairs. You can select them when you buy the ticket.

Getting Into and Moving Around the Theater

The theater is wheelchair accessible though not ADA certified from the entrance, the lobby, and the seats. The theater opens directly onto the sidewalk, which is paved but can be difficult to traverse. Plan ahead on getting into the theater.

Assisted Hearing Devices

Infrared assisted listening devices are available on a first come-first serviced basis from the House Management team before each performance
