DAY 71: Playwright/Actor Greg Keller
The first time you meet Greg Keller you want him to be your best friend. Like, immediately... and not because he is an incredible actor: Wit on Broadway with Cynthia Nixon, The Seagull at CSC with Dianne Wiest and Alan Cumming, Seminar with Jeff Goldblum, 33 Variations with Jane Fonda, both at the Ahmanson in LA, and of course, last year's incredible Belleville at New York Theatre Workshop... and not because he's an awesome playwright with pieces produced at Williamstown Theater Festival, Berkshire Theater Festival, and LAByrinth Theater Company(where he is a member)...not because he is a learned scholar: MFA NYU Tisch, Lila Acheson Wallace Playwriting Fellow at Juilliard AND a BA in Philosophy from CT College... but because Greg Keller is seriously the nicest guy you will ever meet - Something we discovered immediately when he was a Mentor Project fellow in 2008 with THE YOUNG LEFT... an experience he refers to as "transcendent" in his video below. Also, it doesn't hurt that he's a bit dreamy... which is why we challenge you to take 20 seconds and discover for yourself the great guy that is Greg Keller.
